Harry Dietrich, PT, Cert MDT – Manager

Harry has 23 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist.  Earning his degree from Daemen College, his clinical focus is in the areas of neurologic, orthopaedic rehabilitation and spine care. Harry is certified in the McKenzie Method for the diagnosis and treatment of spinal dysfunctions and trained in the Bioness L300 lower extremity stimulator.


Christine Thompson, PT, MS – Supervisor

Christine is a licensed Physical Therapist, certified in vestibular rehabilitation with over 21 years experience.  She earned her Bachelors Degree from the University at Buffalo and her Masters from SUNY Stony Brook. Christine’s expertise focuses on BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo) unilateral and bilateral vestibular loss, central vestibular dysfunction, stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis and orthopaedic rehabilitation. Christine is trained in the Bioness L300 lower extremity stimulator.


Christine Lauke, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS

Christine has over 14 years experience as a licensed Physical Therapist. She received her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Touro College and Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Temple University. Christine is a certified full body provider of the Active Release Technique (ART).  ART is used to restore motion and function of soft tissue and to treat problems that develop with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Christine is an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Her clinical focus also lies in orthopaedics and sports rehabilitation.  Christine is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). She is trained in the Bioness L300 lower extremity stimulator.


Aileen Roginski, PT, DPT

Aileen is a licensed physical therapist and a graduate from the University of Scranton with a doctorate in physical therapy, master’s degree in physical therapy and a bachelor’s degree in health science. Aileen has been rehabilitating dancers, musicians, actors and other theater professionals of Broadway and off-Broadway productions for over 11 years. She plays trombone, piano and baritone horn, and has studied ballet, tap, jazz and belly dancing. She brings her own experience in the field to her care of performing artists..


Yan Kharkover, DPT

Yan is a licensed Physical Therapist with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Buffalo, The State University of New York.  Yan’s clinical focus is in orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation. Yan is also fluent in Russian.  Yan is trained in the Bioness L300 Lower extremity stimulator.


Soledad Tomasino, DPT

Soledad is a licensed Physical Therapist who graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Touro College. With over four years of experience, her clinical focus lies in orthopaedic rehabilitation. Soledad is trained in the Bioness L300 Lower extremity stimulator.


Jessica Finley, PT, DPT

Jessica is a licensed Physical Therapist who graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Masters in Clinical Science from Ithaca College. Her clinical focus lies in orthopaedic rehabilitation.


John Comeau, DPT

John has over 11 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University. His clinical focus lies in orthopaedic rehabilitation and pediatrics. John is also an American College of Sports Medicine certified Health Fitness Specialist.


Russell Bergen, MPT, OCS

Russell has over seven years experience as a licensed Physical Therapist. He earned his Masters in Physical Therapy from Hunter College. Russell’s clinical focus lies in joint replacement, orthopaedics, osteoarthritis and neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s disease and stroke. He is an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Russell is trained in the Bioness L300 Lower extremity stimulator.


Gregory Reardon, DPT, CSCS

Greg is a licensed Physical Therapist who graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Hunter College. He also received a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in exercise science from the State University of New York at Cortland. Greg is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. His clinical focus lies in orthopaedic rehabilitation, and sports therapy. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.


Alex Schieck, PT, DPT

Alex is a licensed Physical Therapist who graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Scranton. His clinical focus lies in orthopaedics, and joint replacement rehabilitation. Alex is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, as well as a member of the APTA’s Sports Physical Therapy Section, and the Orthopaedic Section. Additionally, Alex presented a poster at the 2013 APTA Combined Sections Meeting entitled “A systematic review of the effects of whole body vibration on bone mineral density in postmenopausal women.”


Maria Johnides, DPT

Maria has over 8 years experience as a Physical Therapist and has been treating at our STARS Manhasset location since 2006. She received dual degrees: a Bachelors in Health Sciences and a Clinical Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from Touro College. Maria’s clinical focus is with patients suffering from orthopaedic and neuro-muscular disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, stroke and Traumatic Brain Injury. Maria is trained in the Bioness L300 Lower extremity stimulator.


Soyouen Ahn, DPT, CLT

Soyouen is a licensed Physical Therapist and a certified Lymphedea Therapist. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Boston University and her Masters in Physical Therapy from Husson University. With over 9 years experience in both orthopedic and neurologic settings, Soy’s diverse expertise is highlighted by 4 years at Mount Sinai Hospital where she was the leader of the Lymphedema and Breast Cancer Rehab Program. Soy’s clinical focus lies in upper and lower extremity Lymphedema caused by cancer, vascular pathology or of traumatic origin. Additionally, she is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the National Lymphedema Network (NLN). Soy is a co-author of “A Comparison of Knowledge of Results and Manual Guidence in the Learning of a Wight Bearing Skill” – Journal of Neurological Physical Therapy.
